  9 Bands. 3 Nights. Every Thursday in March. Prizes. Pitchers. Good Company. Rock. Folk. Indie. Punk. Heavy Metal. Funk. We Have it All and We Want it All!
  

  AMS Events is gearing up for its annual March music mayhem - Band Wars returns and is coming to the Pit this spring! We don't care what you play or how you play it, we're just eager to have you come out and join us - take it as a chance to stop ticking your landlords off and to come and play with a professional sound technician in a friendly familiar venue instead! With prizes from Tom Lee Music, we guarantee to send you home with gifts that will make it feel like the holidays all over again.
  

  So what do you need to do?
  

  Not much! At least one of your band members must be a UBC STUDENT. You'll have to fill out an application form by February 12^th (available at the AMS Events Office, the Pit or the Administrative Office), complete with a stage plot and music sample. Drop it off at the AMS Events office and wait to hear if your band has what it takes to make it into the preliminaries! That's all! Easy!
  

  The first show will be Thursday March 11^th and is free to come and watch! Enjoy a pitcher, some good music and a good excuse to relax after midterms and of course, before finals.
